About Us
Loose rails, spongy boards, or a deck that just doesn’t fit your yard? At Wellington Decking, we are local deck builders Wellington who design, handle permits, and carry out deck installation Wellington, repairs, and full replacements-so you get a safe deck that fits your space and budget.
We’re Wellington Decking in Wellington, a crew of seasoned carpenters and project managers who build to code every time. We spec proper footings, 6×6 posts, stainless or coated hardware, and tight ledger flashing-because bad footings sink, bad flashing rots your house, and shortcuts fail inspections.
You get clear pricing, 3D drawings before we start, steady updates while we build, and a tidy site every day. We lay out honest choices-composite, PVC, hardwood, or pressure-treated-what they cost to own, how long they last, and which fits your space, backed by a solid warranty and dependable service from local deck builders Wellington.
Services we handle: custom design, new deck installation Wellington, tear-out and replacement, resurfacing, stairs and railings, composite upgrades, under-deck drainage, helical piles or concrete piers, waterproofing for second-storey decks, and staining or sealing when wood needs it. These matter because the right structure stops sagging and sway, correct flashing keeps water out of your home, proper gaps and ventilation prevent rot and mould, and using the right fasteners avoids rust stains and early failure-skip those and you risk soft boards, trip hazards, failed inspections, and costly do-overs.
